Hiking New Jersey: Weltz Park [VIDEO]

Latest edition of "Hiking New Jersey" with Shawn Michaels at Weltz Park in Oakhurst.

Our latest hike is at Weltz Park, part of the Monmouth County Park System. It's a smaller park, located near Ocean Township High School. The trails are short, but if you do all the trails you can get a good 2+ mile hike.

The park is not very secluded, but trails are wide and great for bringing your dogs with you. It's conveniently located. There is a small parking area. There are NO restrooms by the trails. Trails are marked and are rated "easy" so nothing to difficult.
