Hiking New Jersey

It's January and it's a time of year when lotta folks are inside escaping winter, but it's a perfect time to get outside and get some exercise with no hot sun and bugs.

It sits on the border between Ocean and Burlington County, it's a beautiful location that awaits you and your family. It's gorgeous Bass River State Forest. If you have never visited then you should put this on your list of places to go.

In our latest edition of Hiking NJ, we are off to Burlington County and a visit to the town of Mount Holly.

It is a fantastic park located right here in Ocean County. In this latest edition of Hiking NJ, we returned to Cattus Island County Park in Toms River. Cattus Island Park is part of the Ocean County Park System.

In our ongoing series "Hiking New Jersey" we continue to find fantastic parks and areas to hike here in the Garden State. Hiking is a great way to get in those steps while seeing beautiful areas of New Jersey.

There are many nice places to take a good walk or hike here in Ocean County. If you have visited my page Hiking NJ then you have seen many of the great areas to hike and get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful Jersey Shore.

As you know I continue with my ongoing series "Hiking New Jersey" as we continue to hike fantastic parks and trails here in the Garden State and sometimes even beyond.

Time for another edition of “Hiking NJ” and in this webisode we are off to Monmouth County. Our latest trails are at Perrineville Lake Park in Millstone Township. About an hour drive from Southern Ocean County. I took RT 539 most of the way so it was a scenic ride with no tolls.
