It is a fun Halloween event and a safe one this year at Six Flags Great Adventure  in Jackson Township.

In the midst of the Cornavirus Pandemic, Six Flags has made some changes to their traditional “Frightfest” and put together “Hallowfest” for Halloween 2020. To be honest it’s very similar with the exception that some of the indoor attractions and ones that lacked social distance which are replaced this season with safer and socially distant attractions.

You will still see the famous ghost, goblins, clowns and zombies that have become a tradition at Six Flags, they just won’t get as close ..... which in some cases is not a bad thing at all lol

There are several trails to scare including our favorite Mama’s Farm, which is just creepy. The mirror maze is also a fun time, just take your time and watch for ghosts!

Kids can go to the kiddie section and go on the “trick or treat trail” for some sweet treats (12 and Under)

Food is available and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy a bite and a break. Rides are running and are constantly being disinfected by park staff. There are many hand sanitizing stations throughout the park and remember to wear your mask. If you need a brake there are “no mask zones” where you can go for a break, if you choose.

All in all April and I felt completely at ease with lots of space to socially distance and we kept our masks on. We did remove our masks to eat at an outdoor dining area and tables were placed at least 6 feet apart. So if your looking for a fun Halloween night out check out Hallowfest, if not wait til next year.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃
