The Special Olympics New Jersey will host its annual Polar Bear Plunge this weekend in Seaside Heights. We have everything you need to know.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

*Online registration closes at 11:30 p.m. on February 21st*

WHEN: Saturday, February 22nd

CHECK-IN TIME BEGINS: 9 AM (Between Blaine & Grant Avenues)

PLUNGE TIME: 1 PM

WHERE: Seaside Heights Beach across from Sumner & Blaine Avenues. :

OCEAN WATER TEMPERATURE: Low 40's

FORECAST: Sunny Skies, Highs in the Upper 40's

FUNDRAISING GOAL: 2 Million Dollars

Things To Bring:

• Donations: cash, checks, credit card (make checks payable to Special Olympic New Jersey)
• Shoes for before, during and/or after
• Towel
• Bag for extra clothes and a separate bag for wet clothes, plus a change of dry clothes for after the plunge.
