Incase the clouds Wednesday hindered your view of our latest full moon, I thought I'd share some photos. This current full moon is best known as the "worm" moon. It also coincides with the Vernal Equinox (Spring) ….which hasn't happened on the same day in since March 20th 1981 …. 38 years ago. This full moon is also a "supermoon" meaning the Moon will be nearly at it's closest to Earth for the month of March.

I was able to capture several photos before we lost the moon to the clouds, so give a look and enjoy our latest celestial show.

If you enjoy "star gazing" then you should definitely check out the Novins Planetarium on the Campus of Ocean County College in Toms River. They do a fantastic job and it's a wonderful experience.
