Astronomers and experts have laid out all 12 full moons for the new year, and it looks like New Jersey has two Supermoons, and two Lunar Eclipses to look forward to in 2024.

Astronomers and experts have laid out all 13 full moons for the new year, and it looks like New Jersey has four Supermoons, and a partial Lunar Eclipse in our future.

Be sure to look up Sunday night ... if clouds cooperate.

If you are a stargazer like me, then you will love this Friday night. I remember "star gazing" with my kids in our backyard when they were little. We had an inexpensive telescope and we would go out to check out the stars and of course the full moon when they would occur. The kids loved it and it was a peaceful way to spend an evening outdoors.

The sky will be very active in 2021!

One of many subjects I do enjoy photographing, actually never had a subject I didn't like taking pics of, is the moon. Our little buddy in the sky who kinda follows us wherever we go. The moon can be beautiful and it can be scary all on the same night!

It is going to be a chilly Saturday night for Halloween and this year trick or treaters will be out under the "blue moon". This Halloween we are having our second "full moon" for the month or otherwise known as a "blue moon".

October is a "spooky" month with Halloween and "Tricvk or Treating" .... not to mention the Great Pumpkin! But this October will get even more spooky with two full moons in October, including a "Blue Moon" on Halloween
