Helping a Local Firefighter

It was a great coming together by the community this past weekend here in Southern Ocean County. My Wife and I were glad to have attended a benefit dinner for a local firefighter. The Parkertown Volunteer Fire Company held a benefit fundraiser for one of their members who has recently been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Their brother Tony has been a volunteer firefighter for the last 9 years.

It was the true meaning of Christmas seeing so many folks out and there to lend support and love…something special about us as Americans …. Standing together!
