Enjoying Time At Work

Do you ever get a chance to enjoy some free time at work?

So it dawned on me Friday, that usually I don't get a lot of free time to hang out with co-workers. The hours we have doing the morning show , usually leave us out of "afternoon" events because we are already home... often napping lol

This past Friday the Plain White T's were at our Townsquare Toms River Studios to perform a special concert for listeners. I totally enjoyed getting time to relax with everyone. Watching Sue play trivia games with listeners was a treat lol. It was nice though just to sit back and relax and enjoy conversation and laughs without rushing or working. That is one drawback with our hours, not really being around the office....when there's actually people here lol

I am sure that some of you reading this probably wouldn't want to hang around with your co-workers, but that's a definite perk of our job...we have a lot of  fun. So I guess the lesson I learned was to slow down from time to time and make some time to get involved with some activities at work...I really enjoyed.
