According to 92.7 WOBM Ocean County Traffic Watch, Route 88 is CLOSED at Jack Martin Blvd and Van Zile Road following an accident in Brick.

According to reports following a motor vehicle accident the area around Route 88 in Brick Township is shut down in both directions between Jack Martin Blvd and Van Zile Road.

The accident has left downed utility poles and crews are working to repair and re-open the area, but it may be some time before this era of Route 88 (between Jack Martin Blvd and Van Zile Road) re-opens this morning.
