One of Brick’s Favorite Ice Cream Spots Reopens Soon for Another Sweet Season
Spring is about to get a whole lot sweeter in Brick, New Jersey! 🍦

If you’ve been counting down the days until your favorite local ice cream spot reopens, the wait is almost over.
Yellow Brick Road Ice Cream Shop's beloved Brick location at 754 Mantoloking Road is officially kicking off another delicious season starting April 10th, 2026, and honestly, it can’t come soon enough.
A Local Favorite Everyone Loves
There’s just something about that first ice cream run of the season. The weather finally starts to warm up, the windows are down, and suddenly a cone (or two) feels like a necessity, not a treat. And if you’re anything like me, this spot is already at the top of your list.
What makes this place so special isn’t just the ice cream (although yes, it’s that good). It’s the whole vibe. It’s the friendly faces behind the counter, the families piling in after dinner, the kids trying to decide between sprinkles or no sprinkles (always sprinkles or Jimmies), and that feeling that summer is right around the corner.
Yellow Brick Road Ice Cream Shop has two locations, one in Brick on Mantoloking Road and one in Toms River on Hooper Avenue.
The Ice Cream Cakes Everyone Talks About
And let’s talk about those ice cream cakes for a second, because WOW. If you know, you know. They’re the kind of dessert that somehow disappears faster than expected at every party. Creamy, perfectly layered, and honestly one of the best treats you can bring to any celebration.
A Tradition Worth Coming Back For
But more than anything, this reopening of Yellow Brick Road feels like a little tradition returning. A sign that we’re heading into longer days, warmer nights, and plenty of sweet moments ahead.
