See all the "Icy" fun at the 6th Annual Elk's Miracle Plunge

In all my years of radio, never have I done a "Plunge."  I actually went into Saturday's event hating the idea of jumping in cold icey salt water! The air temp was 26 degrees, water temp was 43, winds 15 + mph and it was snowing!

So as the "plunge" began and people started running into the Atlantic,  screaming and jumping , well I began running and just kept going and got completely soaked! I was completely caught up in the moment and after all was said and done.... LOVED IT! It was a completely different "Promo" or "Stunt" then I ever did and I'm glad I did it :)

Thanks to the Elk's for staging this wonderful event benefiting children. Thanks to those that showed up on a completely freezing winter morning and to those who donated ... we love you. Also thanks to our Promotions Staff who did a fantastic job, Erica braved the snowy cold beach to do our pics and video :)
