A Night Under The Jersey Shore Stars

On Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, the South Seaside Park Annex is hosting a special night of stargazing at Island Beach State Park Parking Lot #2.

The event runs from 8 to 10 p.m., giving everyone plenty of time to settle in, look toward the sky and see what you can spot.

And let's be honest, how cool is it to look up at the stars while you're surrounded by one of the most beautiful places at the Jersey Shore?

Bring Your Curiosity, Telescopes Are Coming!

You won't have to figure everything out on your own.

ASTRA, The Astronomical Society of the Toms River Area, will be there providing telescopes and assistance throughout the evening.

So whether you're someone who knows all about constellations or you're the person who looks up and says, "Wait...which one is the Big Dipper?" This sounds like a fun night for you.

And Yes, It's FREE!

Here's another reason to put this on your calendar: tickets are free, thanks to the Seaside Park Environmental Committee.

There is limited admission, however, and tickets are required.
