A community rallies this weekend to help a young Jersey Shore girl. This Saturday (8/25) Point Pleasant will "give back" to Emma Mae, the 14-year-old girl who recently was the victim of a terrible hit and run accident.

As we reported in a recent article, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Emma Mae was stuck by a vehicle as she rode her bicycle across Route 88 in Point Pleasant. The impact sent her onto the windshield of the vehicle before she rolled onto the hood and was carried 15-20 feet before falling off.

Participating Point Boro businesses will be donating a portion of their proceeds to help Emma Mae and her family.
