It’s Full Force Into Fall As Wawa Lets The Hot Turkeys Loose

Yes, I'm one of those who thought that pumpkin spice in August was overkill.

But, I'll also admit that I can be a bit of a hypocrite when it's something this delicious, as Wawa just announced that another fall favorite is back with the return of their hot turkey menu.

Thanksgiving may still be 77 days away from the time that I'm writing this (I'm publishing this article on September 12th, Thanksgiving is late this year, it's not until November 28th), but I'm one of those who puts warm turkey with gravy, stuffing, and mashed potatoes right up there with the elites of comfort food.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to eat an open-faced turkey sandwich every day from now until Thanksgiving (I'm also hoping that my editor doesn't see that I just said that and get any ideas), but when chilly grey autumn days roll around, I can totally get behind a Wawa hot turkey bowl.

Dang, now I'm hungry.
