Did You Belong to the Columbia House Record Club?

If you were a teenager in the 80's like myself, then there's a good chance you belonged to the Columbia House Record Club. You remember the deal you would get like 8 albums for a penny! Then you had to buy several albums at regular price to finish your agreement.

Each month you would get a "selection" they picked for you and if you didn't reject it, you'd get it and a bill. Of course as many of us we would forget to send the cards back in and soon we'd get billed for an album we didn't want. I'm sure like many of us your Parents weren't to happy about these bills either.

My Wife and I were talking about this the other night .....I was thinking of what my albums were, that I received for a penny. Here's my list that I selected....and yes they were on vinyl! real records!

  • Kiss - Rock N' Roll Over
  • Cheap Trick - At Budokan
  • Foreigner - Double Vision
  • Cars - The Cars
  • Van Halen - Van Halen
  • The Knack - Get the Knack
  • The Kinks - One For The Road
  • Led Zeppelin - In Through The Out Door

WHAT ALBUMS DO YOU REMEMBER ORDERING FROM THE CLUB?
