Berkeley Township partners with Fulfill, local citizens and restaurants to help Families in need. It's a program designed to help feed Berkeley Township residents.

According to Berkeley Township Officials....The emergency “crisis” food kits, provide(s) a family of four with basic groceries to help residents struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Berkeley Township Mayor Carmen Amato said "I have seen firsthand how many families struggle from food insecurity. The COVID-19 pandemic has amplified this problem because so many more in our community are struggling. We are here to help in any way we can to help lighten the load for our families and seniors.”

Residents in need of emergency “crisis” food kits, should please contact Debbi W or Mark at Berkeley Recreation, (732) 269-4456 or by email at mdykoff@twp.berkeley.nj.us. When you call or email, please provide your name, address, phone and email address for follow up.

Residents will remain in their vehicle with the windows closed. We ask them to open the trunk and our volunteers will put the kit in the trunk or truck bed.

For those seniors homebound, or families without transportation, the emergency “crisis” food kits will be delivered. The volunteer delivery person will have no contact as the food kit will be left at the door or porch.

A great service from the Mayor's Office and Berkeley Township
