This past week has been incredibly difficult with the tragic loss of a student. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and the entire school community. No words can fully express the sadness we feel during times like this.

But beyond this tragedy, I’ve grown weary of all the negative talk about Central Regional High School in Berkeley Township. Every school has its challenges, yet it seems like Central is always dragged through the mud.

Yes, the school may appear in the news from time to time, but let’s trust the officials to manage what needs to be done. The updates will come, and when they do, it will be the right way, with facts and context. We all hope and know the truth will be told to us.

There are countless teachers and staff members who work tirelessly for our students, who deserve to be praised and supported by the community, not torn down.
