The report of a burglary in progress in Jackson Thursday morning leads to the arrest of a Township woman. Police say Ronica Fisher, 32 faces Burglary, Theft, Possession of Burglar Tools and Criminal Mischief charges after they responded to a house on Don Connor Boulevard where a window had been broken to gain entry. Police also said they heard hammering noises coming from inside at around 9:21 a.m.

When officers entered the home, they said they observed Fisher hammering away at sheet rock to get at metal pipes. They also said they recovered several tools that Fisher had with her and a bag containing cut pieces of copper piping.

Fisher is lodged in the Ocean County Jail on $250-thousand dollars bail, no ten percent option. Officers also discovered and impounded a 2011 Kia Soul which Ms. Fisher had parked in the woods nearby the location.
