“Car Trouble” Foils Assault Suspect In Toms River

Two New Jersey State Police officers checking out a car that appeared disabled on the Parkway before dawn Sunday found more than they bargained for - an attempted murder suspect behind the wheel.

According to NJSPD Lieutenant Steve Jones, Troopers Ronnie Repasky and Shaun Murray from the Bass River station spotted the car just before 3:00 AM near Exit 82 in Toms River
