The good news is that now it's looking like Hurricane Joaquin will likely miss us with a sharp turn in the coming days. But, living in Ocean County, we all know that it doesn't mean we get a full pass on dangerous conditions.
As we know all too well, it doesn't take much for tidal flooding to make getting around the area a hassle.
I'm admittedly one of the guilty ones who's seen a road with only a little standing water and decided to give it a go.
Thankfully, I'm here to write about it. But did you know that it can take as little as only a few inches of water to not only disable your car, but to sweep it away?
