Emergency Responders Rush to Scene After Deadly Lightning Incident
In the news this morning is word of a deadly lightning strike in Jackson Township that not only injured multiple victims, but also left one dead.

According to authorities in Ocean County, a lightning strike at an archery center in Jackson injured several people aged 7-61, and one died. The deceased was identified as Robert Montgomery from Burlington County, who was from Cinnaminson.
According to Patch, "One man was killed and 13 others were injured Wednesday night when lightning struck at an outdoor archery range. The victims of the lightning strike range from 7 to 61 years old, Jackson Police Chief Matthew Kunz said. The 61-year-old man died as a result of his injuries, Kunz said."
The horrible lightning strike reportedly occurred at the Black Knight Bowbenders range on Perrineville Road at around 7:13 pm.
First responders came from several area medical groups, and victims were taken to nearby hospitals.
