Two of the Most Famous Women From Ocean County, New Jersey

Today, Monday, March 8th, is International Women's Day and we thought it would be cool to highlight two very famous women who are from Ocean County. These two actresses are known worldwide and both came from Ocean County.

First, we want to highlight actress Kirsten Dunst. Kirsten, 38 years old, is originally from Point Pleasant. Kirsten has been in some of the biggest films in Hollywood including Spiderman 1 and 2, Interview with a Vampire, and Jumanji. Another popular movie was 2004' Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Kirsten is engaged to actor Jesse Plemons and they have one child Ennis Howard Plemons. By the way, Kirsten also lived in Brick and attended the Ranney School for a portion of her time here in New Jersey.

Kirsten Dunst from Point Pleasant, Ocean County is our first famous "woman" to highlight on this International Women's Day.

Our second famous woman from Ocean County is actress Piper Perabo. Piper, 44 years old, has starred in movies like Coyote Ugly, the Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Cheaper by the Dozen.

An Ocean County resident, Piper lived in Toms River and Piper is a Mariner, she attended Toms River High School North where she graduated in 1994. Piper is married to actor, director and writer Stephen Kay. Piper is currently on the Showtime series Penny Dreadful.

These are two famous women, but today we honor all women on this International Women's Day and we thank you all.
