Toms River Sink Hole Causing Some Massive Problems for TR Motorists
We have been talking about the worst potholes in Ocean County this week, but we now have a winner! This is the biggest pothole by far.
According to Toms River Police, a massive sinkhole has opened in the Township and it's a big problem for motorists. According to TRPD, the sinkhole broke open on Windsor Avenue earlier this week and as a result, the roadway is closed.
According to TRPD, the area closed is Windsor Avenue between League Road and Garfield Avenue. Police say it will remain closed while Township utility crews conduct repairs.
According to Police Spokesperson Jillian Messina, no one was injured following the road collapse. The road may be closed for up to ten days, but that could change depending on repair work. Police urge motorists to avoid the area of collapse.
