The Philadelphia Flower Show is NOT Cancelled This Year

As the Covid 19 Pandemic continues to cancel spring events, one that will NOT be affected is the annual Philadelphia Flower Show. Officials have announced the "indoor" e3vent will not be canceled instead it will move "outdoors" so visitors can social-distance and get fresh air while they enjoy these wonder flower displays.

The very first Philadelphia Flower Show took place in 1829.....presented by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. It has grown over the years to now become one of the premier gardening events around the nation.

This year's "outdoor" event takes place in Philadelphia at FDR Park. This year's Philadelphia Flower Show theme for 2021 is “HABITAT: Nature’s Masterpiece” according to flower show officials this year's event will explore the beauty of life through nature’s kaleidoscopic lens. Sound pretty cool. Look forward to being outdoors enjoying this wonderful flower show with the sun and fresh air and of course the beautiful colors we know we will see each year in Philadelphia.

In conclusion: April and I have gone in the past and really enjoyed the Philadelphia Flower Show. We made a day of it with dinner and the show. Philadelphia is only about 90 minutes from Ocean County. and always easy to navigate and there are tons of exciting places to eat and visit while in town for the flower show, so plan it out and enjoy....we plan on being there this summer :)
