Pork Roll

Let me make it clear before all hell breaks loose, at the Jersey Shore we call it Pork Roll, not Taylor Ham. I say, Pork Roll, my sisters say, Pork Roll, my parents say, Pork Roll. Everyone I know says, Pork Roll, besides my goofball North Jersey buddy who takes pride in saying, Taylor Ham. He's also one of those people who think Monmouth County is in South Jersey. "North Jersey Matt" is one of my best friends but he's also an idiot! Yes, I will make sure he gets the link to this article...

Pork Roll/Taylor Ham is New Jersey's most beloved food, but I've never tried it. Am I missing out?

Is pork roll really the food we should be most associated with?

So we always hear how “pork roll” is a “Jersey” thing, but what about chocolate covered pork roll? A.K.A. Taylor Ham ! I do agree that pork roll, that’s what I call it, is a real Jersey thing and you can only get good pork roll, egg and cheese here in the Garden State. Any out of state pork roll just can’t compare, you have to get the real deal here in Jersey. As for the “Taylor Ham” debate, there’s no debate.....it’s pork roll.

Are We Running Out of Pork Roll? Do YOU Care ..... I like pork roll (aka Taylor Ham) but if supplies run out during the coronavirus crisis I will not panic. I was surprised seeing this story getting so much attention, but maybe I underestimate the fan base that pork roll has here in the Garden State.
