It's a definite "Jersey" thing, pork roll .... but are you ready for it in ice cream form? Yes you heard right "pork roll" ice cream! northjersey.com is reporting that a farm here in the Garden State is now offering "taylor ham" infused frozen treats. Summer is right around the corner and how does a bowl or cone with "taylor ham" ice cream sound?

Windy Brow Farms in Fredon Twp in Sussex County announced its new flavor, The promotion is part of their anniversary celebration of their creamery. The "pork roll" ice cream is a french toast cream with pieces of pork roll ... a very Jersey breakfast in a cone.

I must admit I like the combination of sweet & salty .... so "yes" I would try it!

This spring the farm is open weekends only from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
