It is an annual tradition in Southern Ocean County and this year it will mark the 40th Anniversary of the Old Time Barnegat Bay Decoy & Gunning Show in Historic Tuckerton, NJ.

They are becoming more and more popular, the off leash dog facilities. These “dog parks” allow dog owners to let their fur babies run free and socialize, all in the safety of a local park. These parks are designed for a safe environment for the dogs and a relaxing place for their owners.

Many times we are looking for some new scenery, a place we have never visited or maybe haven't been to in a long time. Let me suggest William J. Dudley Park in Berkeley Township.

The Recreation Nature and Visitor Centers at Ocean County Parks are reopening Thursday for all guests with some new rules in place.

Here is some more great news as slowly but surely, we are seeing things re-open in Ocean County.

Many, but not all, Ocean and Monmouth County parks will reopen on Saturday, May 2nd. Here are official details for both Jersey Shore counties.

Fresh Air and Sunshine as State and County Parks Begin to Re-Open .... Time to enjoy some outdoor time with fresh air and sunshine. Governor Murphy announced on Wednesday that State and County parks may re-open this Saturday, May 2nd.

As of Tuesday night, all Ocean County parks will be closed until further notice.

The Ocean County Natural Lands Trust Fund has successfully preserved close to 30,000 acres of open space since 1998.
