Salt Water Crocodile on LBI? Or Just a Bad Joke?

Was there a saltwater crocodile in the waters off Shop Bottom, LBI this weekend? The answer is NO! Ship Bottom Police received numerous calls after a bogus "social media" post caused a stir. According to Officials the group "Create a Prank" was responsible for posting the phony story. Police remind residents not to believe everything they read.

Looking online it appears there are NO salt water crocodiles in the New Jersey area.
