
Robbers Strike Two Banks in Toms River Friday
Toms River Police are reporting two bank robberies Friday evening in less than two hours. According to the Asbury Park Press, the first occurred at around 4:30 at the TD Bank branch on Mule Road where a suspect in his 20's, wearing a green wind breaker, gloves, a wool hat and sunglasses handed the teller a note and fled with cash.
The second according to officials through an Ocean County Police, Fire, & EMS Facebook Post, occurred at around 6:10 p.m. at the Santander Bank on Route 37 by a white male suspect wearing a black jacket and black mask. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 732-349-0150
