Toms River residents have a new place to workout and get into shape as the township has officially opened a new fitness facility at Veterans Park, off North Bay Avenue.
Under the Toms River resolution, a section of the Township Land Use Code will be amended for special event applications to allow for outdoor tables, chairs, umbrellas and benches for food establishments with the $100 permit fee being waived.
