Toms River Township

Toms River residents have a new place to workout and get into shape as the township has officially opened a new fitness facility at Veterans Park, off North Bay Avenue.

Under the Toms River resolution, a section of the Township Land Use Code will be amended for special event applications to allow for outdoor tables, chairs, umbrellas and benches for food establishments with the $100 permit fee being waived.

The Ocean County towns with beaches have been meeting with each other and discussing the best way and timing to open up beaches and boardwalks as they map out the summer.
