Is Black Friday The New Going Out of Business Sale?

I don't know about you, but I feel like I have been seeing "Black Friday" sales popping up all over the place for some time now. Is "Black Friday" the new "going out of business sale" slogan? Remember when you would always see "going out of business" and "everything must go" sales? They seemed like a perfect way to get your attention... as do "Black Friday" savings today.

Now don't get me wrong, there will be many "Black Friday" sales this week and great savings for you to take advantage of, whether you're going into a brick and mortar establishment or shopping online.

One thing I would love to encourage is to shop "locally". Let's help out the local businesses and shop locally for Black Friday. Local businesses have been hit hard during the pandemic and they could really use your support this year more than ever. Check out local shops first and see what wonderful gift ideas they have with a local touch for you and your family this holiday season.
