How Will Your Kids Spend The Summer?

With summer upon us in Ocean County, we already asked how the adults plan to mark the occasion, now I want to know how your kids will spend their school vacations. 

It's interesting when I think back to my childhood, how my brother and I enjoyed our summer breaks totally differently.

I went to summer camp for my whole childhood and early adulthood, and loved every second of it.

My brother, who is 2 1/2 years older, spent his summers reading his favorite books and enjoying the break relaxing.

And we both were doing what we loved to do.

There are so many options, especially for kids old enough to work. From lifeguarding, to working at the mall, working at a summer camp, or running boardwalk games, teenagers have a ton of ways to make some extra money during the summer months.

For the younger kids, some enjoy being outdoors; camping, swimming, and hiking, while others like to take advantage of not having to catch the school bus every morning and take it easy for a couple of months before it all starts again.
