Hiking NJ and Beyond: Bear Mountain State Park [VIDEO]

In this latest edition of hiking, it's a trip out of New Jersey and into New York State. It was a combination of cruising the Hudson River (Circle Line Cruises) and hiking Bear Mountain State Park. We enjoyed going up the Hudson and seeing the wonderful sights and colors along the way.

Bear Mountain is a beautiful NY state park and as the name infers, is based on a mountain. So keep that in mind if you're thinking of going. There are some elevated areas which may not be great for some including small children. Overall we had no trouble hiking various trails and we enjoyed it. The park also has museums, a zoo, and lake activities.

As always before you take a trip to hike, research and investigate the property and see if it's a good fit for you.

We loved Bear Mountain and will definitely be back one day. New York State has beautiful sights in autumn. If you enjoy the colors of fall, you will love this adventure. April and I totally enjoyed this latest adventure.
