You certainly know by now that there's a lot of work going on at the Ocean County Mall.

With the redevelopment project getting approval last fall, the former Sears being demolished earlier this year, and yesterday's announcement of two major tenants who will be joining the lineup by next year, today we're getting an idea of what the near-future will look like on Hooper Avenue.

Yesterday, we got the announcement of LA Fitness and Homesense signing on to the mall's roster.

Today, we're getting a look at what the project's developers are envisioning:

In the foreground, we see BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, which is currently under construction and expected to open by this summer.

Along Oak Avenue, there's a new block of freestanding stores, with another group of new construction backing up to the existing building where Sears used to be.

The press release from yesterday told us that in addition to BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse's summer 2019 opening, both LA Fitness and Homesense are expected to open their doors in 2020, and the mall's owners, Simon Property Group, tells us that they'll, "...have several more announcements coming soon".

We'll bring you those announcements as soon as we get them.
