For the first 5 years I had a Mommy Blog about my daughter Abby’s life and what it was like for me as a first time Mommy.  Well now she’s a 7 year old Diva and I’ve decided to bring back the Mommy Blog.  Her life and what she does is just so funny, it’s too funny not to talk about or write about!  It’s time to share our adventures with you again.  Sue's Mommy Blog

For about 3 years now this elf Rudolph has been coming to our house and surprising Abby with notes and of course he hides through-out the house every night while we are sleeping.  It's a fun 25 days leading up to Christmas.  I really feel Abby isn't good because of Santa, she's being well behaved because of Rudolph.  This stuffed elf has brought more joy than anything else.  And for a little girl that wakes up in the morning smiling with happiness to find Rudolph in the house is priceless.

There are rules, just like Elf on a Shelf, but it's a little different:

1.  Abs can touch Rudolph.

2. The elf hides everywhere in the house other than closets and the laundry room because Rudolph is scared of the washer and dryer...hint can you guess where I hide him when he goes back to the North Pole.

3.  Rudolph never leaves our house and one more very important rule--Keep Believing!

It's adorable to watch how a stuffed elf can get the dogs all excited because Rudolph also drops little treats for them, too.  And my 7 year old is so full of the Christmas Spirit, how can I ever be sad or think about anything this time of the year.

And as your kids or grand-kids start getting curious and asking all kinds of questions about Santa Claus or these elves...this is what I say, "Remember you have to believe to receive".  It works!

Much love and happiness from my elf-y house this Christmas Season for you and your family! XOXO
