Good News For A Local Girl Needing Bone Marrow Transplant

Following up on a local story we did ...We have great news!

We introduced you to a local High School girl "Lauren" who is battling  Acute Myeloid Leukemia . Lauren is a senior at Pinelands Regional High School in Little Egg Harbor. The community has really come together hosting a "Swabbing" which is a test for a bone marrow donor match. At that event last month in Little Egg Harbor over a thousand people came out on a rainy Saturday to show support and get tested!

Well great news! A donor match has been found!

It's still along road ahead and we will keep Lauren and her Family in our prayers! And we'll keep you posted ....

Get Swabbed Saturday, March 3rd at Walgreens! Locations - Little Egg Harbor (10am - 2pm), Barnegat (12pm - 4pm), Toms River (3 locations - Washington St, Church Road and Rt 37 12pm - 4pm)
