The holiday season is a time to entertain guests. But, sometimes we have to deal with uninvited guests. No, I'm not talking about in-laws, I'm talking about bugs and rodents.

When the weather turns colder, the invaders look for somewhere warm to take shelter. So, which pests are the most irritating in the Garden State?

Well, the crack research team over at The Huffington Post wanted to find out which pests were the biggest problem in each state. How did they get their data? Easy, they Googled it.

They took a look at which pests each state was searching for the most online between the beginning of the year to mid-November.

They drilled the results down to the most common; spiders, mice, rats, bed bugs, mosquitoes, cockroaches, and ants.

In case you didn't guess from the photo above, New Jersey's most Googled pest for 2015 were ants.

Honestly, if you think about it, that's probably the least of the evil options.

Think about it - bed bugs are notoriously hard to both detect and get rid of. Mice can spread disease, and spiders are just, well, awful.

At least with ants, you can put out a few traps, and that usually does the trick.

Are you surprised with the results? Which pest would you say is the most annoying? Comment below and let us know!
