February is over and March 2020 is here.
The weather is starting to warm up and that can only mean one thing - it's time once again to rustle up Ocean County's school spirit and find out who has the best high school mascot!
Ladies and gentlemen, Mascot Madness 2020 is officially here.
To catch you up to date, this is our 5th annual Mascot Madness competition.
Here's how the competition shook out in the past few years:
2016 - Toms River High School East Raiders
2017 - Toms River High School South Indians
2018 - Toms River High School North Mariners
2019 - Lacey Lions
Will the defending champion Lacey Lions repeat in 2020?
Will the prize come back to Toms River?
Or will another Ocean County high school mascot add their name to history and grab this year's prize?
That's all up to you!
Over the month of March, we'll narrow down the candidates tournament-style until we have the best high school mascot in Ocean County.
