An Ocean County Boardwalk Favorite Is Expanding To Asbury Park

I've talked many times about the outstanding food that you can get on Ocean County's boardwalks. And today we're getting word that an Ocean County favorite will be setting up shop right in Asbury Park.

The Asbury Park Press is reporting that Maruca's Tomato Pies will be opening a pizzeria at Asbury's Fourth Avenue Pavilion, "by the end of the year".

I've extolled the virtues of the much loved tomato pie before, and Maruca's is one of the best. Don't just take my word for it, it's been named one of the best in the state, too!

It's all part of the, "multi-million dollar upgrade"  that Asbury Park's boardwalk is getting ready to cut the ribbon on.

If we're being honest, Ocean County's boardwalks are the place to be for the most options and best food. So it only makes sense that our neighbors to the north will be taking a cue from us by putting one of our favorites on their signature boardwalk.
