You don't need me to tell you that Ocean County has a passion for pizza and some outstanding places to grab a slice. That's why we asked you to weigh in and vote for your favorite pizza place in the area, and we have a winner!

I have say right from the top - it is not easy to narrow this down to only 5, but I could call out great boardwalk eateries all day long and just keep writing and writing. So we're keeping this to 5. In no particular order, here they are...

New Jersey may not be one of the biggest states in the country, but when it comes to food we definitely have an enormous variety of restaurants to rival any major metro.

If you look at the photo above, it's just a pizza. Don't get me wrong, I love pizza as much as the next guy, but it's not a true Jersey Shore boardwalk pizza. And it's certainly not another staple of the Jersey diet - the tomato pie.
