In Freehold, CentraState emergency room staff get quite a jolt when a small passenger sedan rams into its brick exterior Friday night causing glass to shatter in the waiting area.

Reports says the incident occurred at around 8:15 - 8:30 p.m. when 58-year-old Paul Sergeant of Freehold was driving 57-year-old Kathleen Clark to the E.R., and he evidently miss-navigated the entrance.

Vice President of Public Relations Richard Mackesy says both Sergeant and Clark were easily removed from the vehicle and brought into the E.R. for evaluation and treatment of minor injuries.

A 20-year-old Freehold woman who was inside the E.R. during the crash also suffered minor injuries and was treated at the hospital.

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
