I've touched on technology and communication a bit in the past. Talking about texting mishaps and how quickly technology has evolved in the past 15 years or so. But it was actually my Summer camp post that inspired this one.

As I was getting ready for work this morning, listening to music wirelessly through my iPhone to my stereo system and fiddling with my fantasy baseball team online I wondered, how did we take this stuff for granted so quickly?

Virgin Atlantic airlines is now offering passengers the opportunity to talk on cell phones during Trans-Atlantic flights.  The company says the pilot program tested well and consumers are viewing this as a "positive" step.  What do you think?

Technology is a wonderful thing. These days we can communicate instantly with a wide array of people; family, friends, co-workers, etc. But has the ease of technology ever backfired on you?
