I have been a fan of The Who ever since I saw "Tommy" on Broadway when I was in high school. From there, I bought as many CDs as I could get my hands on and jumped fully in to their catalogue.
Today's reading experience is nothing like the literal "page-turners" of yesteryear. But even with the e-Book, the Kindle and the iPad at our fingertips, we can still spot a wacky romance novel cover from a mile off.
Obviously, a lot of people are driving this weekend. Not only "down the shore" for Labor Day weekend, but a lot of us locals are taking road trips to mark the end of Summer too. When it comes to road trips, the driving can become tedious.

When popular books are turned into movies, sometimes they can be spectacular triumphs (Harry Potter, anyone?) and other times they can be epic failures (there's a reason we've only seen one Lemony Snicket movie, despite the popularity of the book series).
