No matter what religious beliefs you feel, you cannot deny that Pope Francis has brought joy to many during his first visit to the United States. However, he's also created some beautiful memories for those of us in the Northeast.

On Friday, many Twitter users noted that it seemed like small rainbow was appearing over parts of New York City, as the pope visited. And photos of a colorful sky surfaced again on Saturday in Philadelphia as the pope lead a mass.

On Friday manyTwitter users noted that the sky was turning colors in New York City:

While it wasn't a rainbow, it was definitely a sight to see.  NBC 10 in Philadelphia reports that it wasn't exactly a rainbow, but instead something called "a sundog." Sundogs occur when sunlight refracts in the ice crystals of cirrus clouds.

In Philadelphia on Saturday, many noted a similar object in the sky over the Basilica  as the pope said mass.

So while the weather has been mostly cloudy during the pope's visit to the Northeast, there have been some beautiful moments in the weather pattern, as well.
