Have you noticed a lot of Eagles green around Long Branch in the last day or so? Well, there's a good reason for it, and it involves the Pope, the Philadelphia Eagles, and Monmouth University.

Unless you've been living under a rock lately, you know that Pope Francis is in town this week; visiting Washington, DC, New York, and Philadelphia.

Along with The Pontiff's visit though, comes a lot of logistics to figure out, and the Eagles figured that it would be best to head across the Delaware for their practices while he's in town.

Monmouth University welcomed them with open arms, and the Eagles are practicing in West Long Branch today and tomorrow.

Although there is one bit of bad news - the practices aren't open to the public. But hey, you never know who you might see out and about grabbing some Starbucks or a bite to eat!
