The seminar is the seventh in the series being offered monthly. Ocean Vicinage is holding the clinic in conjunction with Ocean-Monmouth Legal Services.

Ann Marie Fleury, Ombudsman with Ocean Vicinage and New Jersey Superior Court, said attendance at the seminars has been good and individuals who attend, leave with valuable information. "They understand what's involved with preparing the divorce complaints, with filing the complaints, and it walks them through the entire process, basically from soup to nuts," she said.

Getting a divorce involves a lot more than just filing a form. There are various steps throughout the entire process that will be explained in more detail. Professionals also will go over some misunderstandings about serving divorce papers. "That's one of the areas that generally gets cleared up for a lot of individuals," Fleury said.

Friday's session is free and open to the public. It's being held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Jury Assembly area of the Ocean County Courthouse, 100 Hooper Avenue, Toms River. Individual cases cannot be discussed or resolved.

Space is limited and reservations are recommended by calling 732-929-2063 or emailing  oceanlric.mailbox@judiciary.state.nj.us
