Ombudsman for the Superior Court of NJ, Ocean Vicinage Ann Marie Fleury says anyone can benefit from the information.

"Individuals who attend can understand the filing and modification process associated with both any custody arrangements and well as child support and/or spousal support," Fleury said.

The workshop is being offered on Friday, September 19, 2014 at the Ocean County Courthouse located at 100 Hooper Avenue in Toms River.  It begins at 10:00am and preregistration is NOT required.  Attorneys and other legal experts will be on hand to explain the procedures and answer questions.

This marks the eighth such seminar offered by the Ocean County Court System, and Fleury says they're answering a very important need.

"Generally, the court process may not be easy for individuals to navigate without having some basic information and/or having the procedures explained to them," Fleury said.  "So, the idea of having a seminar on the support and custody process is a way to kind of ease people into the process."
