Your 2018 Jersey Shore St. Patrick’s Day Parade Guide
I can't believe I'm typing this, but with Valentine's Day well in the past and March only days away, it's time to look ahead to the next holiday as St. Patrick's Day rolls around on a Saturday this year (what could possibly go wrong?), March 17th!
If there's one thing that we know how to do really well here at the Jersey Shore, it's throwing parades!
Here's where and when the celebrations of all things Irish are going down this year:
Starts from the western end of Lake Como at 3rd Ave and North Blvd. Parade will be held rain, shine, snow, sleet etc.
The parade begins at Noon on the Boulevard and has a rain date scheduled for Sunday the 11th.
The parade route begins at the Asbury Park Boardwalk on Ocean Ave at 4th Ave. Check the website for how to get in the VIP area!
If you want to do a little traveling out of the immediate area to keep the party going, further up in Monmouth County, there are also parades on Sunday the 11th in Freehold and Rumson, both of which kick off at 1pm.
After you've taken some time to recover, you can head up to Keyport on Saturday, March 24th for their parade as well.
