What Time Is Too Late To Trick or Treat ?

So here is a question I hear alot of people talking about .... What time is too late on Halloween to ring the door bell at your neighbors ?

I think over the years we have had little ones start as early as 3 pm and older kids still pop up as late as 10 pm ..... So when do you turn the lights off ?
