Need to register for the mid-term elections just around the corner? We have info on how to register here in Ocean County.
To register to vote in New Jersey you must be:
- At least 17 years old; you may not vote until you are 18 years old
- A United States citizen
- You cannot be currently serving a sentence, probation or parole because of a felony conviction
- A resident of the county for 30 days before the election
The New Jersey deadline for registering to vote in the general election is Tuesday, October 16th.

According to a recent Patch article, you can print out the form and fill it out by hand and mail it (the form includes a postage-page mailer), or you can hand-deliver it to the Ocean County Clerk's office, 118 Washington St., Room 107, Toms River.
